Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Estimation Manager with strong expertise in HVAC estimation, tendering, costing and techno-commercial bid preparation.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in MEP/HVAC contracting or EPC projects, with strong exposure to chiller-based HVAC systems, tender analysis, BOQ, quantity take-off, rate analysis, vendor negotiation and project costing.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage HVAC estimation, tendering and bid preparation.
- Analyse tenders, BOQs, specifications, drawings and commercial requirements.
- Prepare and review quantity take-offs, rate analysis, cost calculations and project estimates.
- Handle estimation for chiller-based HVAC systems and major HVAC equipment.
- Apply basic HVAC design knowledge while preparing project estimates.
- Review and validate project costing, quantities, vendor quotations and commercial assumptions.
- Prepare competitive and commercially viable techno-commercial bids.
- Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate alternative design solutions without compromising performance, efficiency or quality.
- Prepare and review comparative statements, cost summaries and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for technical clarifications and commercial negotiations.
- Compare and negotiate pricing for chillers and other major HVAC equipment.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Projects and Commercial teams.
- Review market rates, vendor pricing and project-specific commercial requirements.




- Identify commercial risks and opportunities affecting project cost and profitability.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in HVAC Estimation / Tendering / Costing.
- Strong experience in MEP/HVAC Contracting or EPC.
- Strong hands-on experience in Chiller-based HVAC Estimation.
- Good knowledge of Basic HVAC Design and Estimation.
- Strong experience in Tender Analysis, BOQ Analysis, Quantity Take-Off and Rate Analysis.
- Experience in Techno-Commercial Bid Preparation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, materials and installation costing.
- Experience in Vendor/Subcontractor Coordination and Commercial Negotiation.
- Experience in Quotation Comparison and Comparative Statement preparation.
- Knowledge of HVAC market rates, vendor pricing and contracting practices.
- Strong understanding of Value Engineering and Cost Optimization.
- Good commercial, analytical and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in HVAC Contracting, MEP Contracting, EPC, Building Services or large-scale infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Strong preference for candidates with core HVAC Estimation & Tendering experience, rather than profiles primarily focused on HVAC design or execution.
