Role & responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems including Chilled Water, VRF/VRV, DX, ventilation, pressurization, and smoke extraction systems.

- Perform heat load calculations using HAP, TRACE, or equivalent software.

- Prepare HVAC layouts, duct/piping layouts, plant room layouts, risers, schematics, equipment schedules, and design calculations.

- Select HVAC equipment including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, and fans.

- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, NBC, local regulations, and client specifications.

- Coordinate with Architecture, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, Structural, vendors, and clients.

- Prepare BOQ, technical specifications, and vendor technical comparisons.

- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits,



and support testing & commissioning.

Preferred candidate profile

- HVAC load calculations, duct design, pipe sizing, psychrometrics, ventilation, and equipment selection.

- AutoCAD and MS Excel required.

- HAP and Revit preferred.

- Positive knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Relevant experience in HVAC design, preferably in high-rise residential, commercial, hospitals, hotels, or industrial projects.
