Role Description This is a full-time, in office HVAC Designer role based in Bengaluru. The HVAC Designer will be responsible for designing HVAC and plumbing systems for building projects, preparing detailed layouts, schematics, and equipment schedules, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Day-to-day tasks include performing load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment, coordinating designs with architectural and structural teams, and updating designs based on feedback and site conditions. The role involves reviewing project requirements, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, preparing technical documentation,



and supporting installation and commissioning activities as needed. The HVAC Designer is expected to maintain high-quality design practices, adhere to project timelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Ability to design HVAC systems, including HVAC Design and HVAC expertise.
- Proficiency in Plumbing Design and practical knowledge of Plumbing systems.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to building services.
- Experience with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and load calculation tools.
- Understanding of local and international building codes, standards, and safety regulations for HVAC and plumbing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; prior experience in HVAC/plumbing design for commercial or institutional projects is an advantage.
