- The Senior Design Engineer/Asst. Manager is responsible for design, analysis, and implementation of HV/EHV Cables up to 400kV.
- This role ensures all designs meet technical standards, client specifications, and industry safety regulations while optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness.

Qualification & Requirement:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in HV/EHV underground cable design
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Robust expertise in HV/EHV Cables & working experience in LV/MV, special cable are exceptional.
- Hands-on experience in:

1. To read & understand the customer/tender requirement
2. Technical knowledge to prepare GTP & technical documents as required by customer/utilities
3. Understanding of cable laying & bonding arrangements
4. Knowledge of CCR, Short circuit, Emergency current loading etc. calculations
5. Preparation and checking of design drawings





- Experience with CYMCAP / AutoCAD preferred
- Coordination with Sales, manufacturing team
- Design experience in HV/EHV is mandatory
- Knowledge of SAP & Microsoft office.
- Knowledge of ISO Compliance & Certification

Technical Documentation: Prepare Guaranteed Technical Particulars (GTP) schedules, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and detailed engineering drawings (SLDs, termination drawings, and layout designs). Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to relevant national and international standards (e.g., IEEE, IS, IEC, ASCE, NESC, ANSI).

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, sales, manufacturing, and field installation teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
