Company Description AASHRAYA Foundation is a compassion-driven organization that turns kindness into everyday action for people and animals in vulnerable situations. The foundation supports multiple causes, including elderly care, orphaned children, children with special needs, women’s safety, LGBTQ+ communities, and animal welfare. AASHRAYA focuses on building genuine connections through regular engagement, ensuring that each person served feels seen, heard, and supported.
The organization believes that meaningful change comes from collective will rather than large resources, and aims to create a culture where shelter, support, and belonging are available to all. Volunteers are encouraged to become active contributors to social change by joining the AASHRAYA community.
Role Description The Human Resources Volunteer role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting HR functions that enable AASHRAYA’s volunteer and team community to thrive. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with volunteer and staff onboarding, maintaining HR records, and supporting the implementation of HR policies and guidelines. The role involves helping coordinate personnel management activities such as scheduling, documentation, and basic performance or engagement tracking.
The volunteer may also support communication around benefits or support programs offered to volunteers and team members, and contribute to building an inclusive, respectful, and equitable organizational culture. Collaboration with other volunteers and coordinators is expected, using online tools to manage workflows and maintain transparent, timely communication.
