We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment lifecycle and supporting the organization in attracting, identifying, and hiring high-quality talent across technical, engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
The candidate should have strong exposure to recruitment within a manufacturing/engineering environment, excellent sourcing capabilities, and the ability to understand technical job requirements and identify suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from understanding manpower requirements to candidate onboarding.
- Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand job requirements, technical skills, experience, and organizational needs.
- Develop and implement effective talent sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, recruitment agencies, professional networks, and other channels.
- Source candidates for engineering, production, quality, maintenance, design, projects, supply chain, procurement, sales, finance, and other corporate functions.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidates against defined job requirements.
- Coordinate technical and managerial interview rounds with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future manpower requirements.
- Manage recruitment agencies and external consultants, wherever required.
- Negotiate compensation and employment terms within approved organizational guidelines.
- Coordinate the offer, documentation, background verification, and joining process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate databases, and MIS reports.
- Track recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer-to-joining ratio, source effectiveness, and recruitment turnaround time.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pool for critical and recurring positions.
- Support employer branding and participate in job fairs, campus recruitment, industry events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company recruitment policies and applicable employment regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition and end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Experience in recruiting technical and engineering professionals within a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of manufacturing functions such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Projects, Design, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
- Strong sourcing and candidate identification skills.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, job portals, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and recruitment databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment abilities.
- Good negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple positions and priorities simultaneously.
- Robust follow-up, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, EPC, or similar technical organization is preferred.
