Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement for the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing HR policies, managing payroll and benefits administration in coordination with finance, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards. The role involves supporting managers with workforce planning, handling employee relations issues, facilitating training and development initiatives, and maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.
The Human Resources
Manager will also contribute to building a positive workplace culture and improving HR processes and systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Human resources operations skills, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience with performance management, employee engagement, and learning and development initiatives.
- Knowledge of payroll processes, benefits administration, and HR documentation practices.
- Robust understanding of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and HR policy development in India.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to use HRIS or other HR-related software tools and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR generalist role, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based environments.
