Atharva Engineers and Industrial Projects LLP is a premier Fire Protection System design and installation engineering firm based in Pune. As part of our strategic growth roadmap, we are expanding our engineering, design, and project site workforce from 45 to 80 employees over the next 24 months.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and hands-on HR Manager to partner directly with CEO and executive leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our manpower scaling strategy, architect a performance management system (PMS) tailored for project environments, drive employee engagement, and maintain operational labor compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Talent Acquisition & Headcount Scaling: Design and execute proactive recruitment strategies to hire specialized design engineers, MEP project managers, safety engineers, and certified site technicians across Pune and client project sites.
- - Performance Management (PMS): Build and implement a structured KRA/KPI framework for technical and managerial roles,



establishing clear appraisal cadences and accountability.
- - Employee Retention & Engagement: Foster a high-performance culture, drive career progression initiatives, and implement retention strategies to minimize field and office attrition.
- - Leadership Development: Coach and mentor mid-level technical heads to transition smoothly into effective team leaders.
- - Statutory Compliance & Site IR: Oversee labor contractor compliance, site discipline, and local Maharashtra labor regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: 7 to 12 years of core HR leadership experience, preferably within Engineering Projects, MEP, Fire Protection, Construction, or Manufacturing sectors.
- - Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is required for effective office, site team, and local liaison communication.
- - Education: MBA / Master’s in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or equivalent degree.
- - Proven Capability: Demonstrated track record of building teams from scratch, implementing PMS frameworks, and managing site-based technical talent.
- - Location: Based in or willing to work on-site in Pune.
