We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist to join our team and work closely with the Founder across hiring, HR operations, employee engagement, policies, and performance management.
This is a hands-on role where you will have the chance to build and improve HR processes while working closely with employees and leadership. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership, and handling multiple HR responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process across various functions and levels.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other channels.
- Screen, interview, coordinate, and evaluate candidates.
- Manage interview processes and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Maintain and track the hiring pipeline and recruitment metrics.
HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee queries.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate with relevant teams on attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and other HR processes.
- Ensure HR processes are implemented smoothly and consistently.
Policies & Processes
- Draft, update, and implement HR policies and processes.
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and suggest improvements.
- Ensure employees are aware of and follow company policies.
- Help build scalable HR processes as the company grows.
Performance Management
- Support goal-setting and performance management processes.
- Track employee performance and ensure regular reviews and feedback.
- Work with managers to identify performance gaps and improvement areas.
- Support the implementation of performance improvement plans where required.
- Maintain performance-related documentation and reports.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal events.
- Gather employee feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Help build a positive and transparent workplace culture.
What we are looking for:
- 1–2 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and the end-to-end hiring process.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
- Comfortable working directly with founders and senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
