We’re looking to appoint an experienced HR Consultant who can act as our go-to person for all HR-related queries and provide ongoing support to the business.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone with solid experience working with UK-based companies in a similar role, with a robust understanding of UK employment law, legislation and HR best practice.
The role would include
- Acting as our main point of contact for all HR queries and employee matters.
- Managing and advising on grievances, disciplinary processes and other employee relations issues.
- Supporting us with the correct processes and documentation to ensure we remain compliant.
- Providing guidance on UK employment law, including contracts, policies, performance management, absence, holidays, conduct and termination.
- Advising management on how to handle sensitive or potentially difficult employee situations.
- Reviewing and helping us maintain our HR policies and procedures.
- Keeping us up to date with any relevant changes to UK employment legislation.
- Providing practical, commercially minded advice rather than simply pointing us towards legislation.
UK experience is essential, and ideally, we’d like someone who has previously worked as an HR Consultant, HR Manager or similar within UK businesses and is comfortable acting as an outsourced HR function.
