HR Business Partner AMC & Index Business (Gurgaon)

Role Overview The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to leadership of the Asset Management Company (AMC) and Index Business, driving the HR agenda across talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and culture-building for the Gurgaon location.

Key Responsibilities

- • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategy with business goals for AMC and Index businesses
- • Drive end-to-end talent management: workforce planning, hiring strategy, succession planning, and career development
- • Lead performance management cycles, calibration, and compensation review processes for aligned business units
- • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
- • Support organizational design and change management initiatives (restructuring, recent business lines, team scaling)
- • Drive employee engagement initiatives and act on feedback from surveys/pulse checks
- • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure quality and timely hiring for critical/niche roles
- • Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and audit requirements




- • Coach and counsel managers on people practices, leadership development, and difficult conversations
- • Analyze HR metrics (attrition, engagement, hiring TAT) and present insights to business leadership
- • Collaborate with COEs (L&D;, C&B;, TA) to roll out enterprise-wide programs locally

Requirements
- • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute
- • 6–10 years of HRBP experience, preferably in BFSI/Asset Management/Financial Services
- • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering senior leadership
- • Sound knowledge of employment law, compensation structures, and performance management frameworks
- • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- • Experience handling a mid-to-large size client group (200+ employees) preferred
- • Prior exposure to AMC/mutual fund/index business is a strong plus
