Role & responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition &
- Bulk Hiring:
Drive end-to-end recruitment for both blue-collar (warehouse associates, pickers, packers) and white-collar (supervisors, floor managers) roles, organizing and executing high-volume hiring drives to meet operational demands.
- Workforce Planning &
- Availability:
Collaborate with warehouse operations managers to forecast daily manpower needs and ensure 100% availability of the workforce to meet productivity targets.
- Lifecycle Management (Onboarding &
- Offboarding):
Enable seamless induction programs for current joiners to ensure they are floor-ready. Manage smooth exit interviews, clearance processes, and full-and-final (F&F;) settlements.
- Payroll &
- Attendance Management:
Monitor daily biometric attendance, manage leave records, and ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll for a large volume of employees.
- Grievance Handling &
- Employee Relations:
Act as the primary point of contact for floor staff. Promptly and empathetically address employee queries, concerns, and conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Employee Engagement: Plan and execute engaging floor activities, festival celebrations, and reward/recognition programs to boost morale, motivate staff, and reduce attrition.
- Vendor Management:
Liaise with third-party staffing agencies, contractors, and facility vendors. Ensure they meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and deliver quality manpower on time.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all labor laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages Act, Factories Act, etc.). Maintain audit-ready documentation and registers at all times.
- HR MIS &
- Reporting:
Utilize Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros) to maintain HR databases, track attrition rates, analyze workforce metrics, and generate daily/weekly MIS reports for management.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA in HR is a plus).
- Experience: 1-4 years in HR, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Robust command over Advanced Excel is mandatory. Familiarity with HRMS/Payroll software is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Written Communication in English. Also, Hindi is mandatory as communicating with blue-collar workers is a core part of the role.
