We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR professional with prior experience in a Media, Digital Media, Advertising, Marketing, PR, or Content company.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete HR function, including recruitment, candidate management, onboarding, employee records, salary coordination, attendance, performance management, employee engagement, and employee exits.

The ideal candidate should understand the fast-paced nature of the media industry and be comfortable hiring and managing professionals across Sales, Content, Social Media, Marketing, Creative, Design, Video, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Hiring

* Manage the complete recruitment process from manpower requirement to joining.
- Hire candidates specifically for media-industry roles such as:
- Sales & Business Development
- Content Writers & Content Managers
- Social Media Managers
- Digital Marketing
- Graphic Designers
- Video Editors
- Creative & Production Teams
- Campaign Managers
- Account Managers
- Operations & Administration
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, social media, recruitment agencies, and industry networks.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and management.
- Maintain an updated candidate database and recruitment tracker.
- Handle salary discussions and negotiations.
- Prepare and release offer letters.
- Follow up with selected candidates until their date of joining.

1. Employee Onboarding & Management

* Conduct complete employee onboarding and induction.
- Collect and maintain all joining documentation.
- Explain company policies, working processes, attendance, leave, salary structure, and workplace expectations.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for employee-related matters.

1. Salary & Payroll Management

* Coordinate monthly salary processing for all employees.
- Maintain salary records, incentives, bonuses, deductions, and revisions.
- Coordinate with accounts/management for timely salary disbursement.
- Manage salary negotiations for new hires.
- Maintain records of salary revisions, increments, promotions, and incentives.




- Ensure confidentiality of employee compensation information.

1. Attendance & Leave Management

* Maintain daily attendance records.
- Manage employee leave applications and approvals.
- Track late coming, absenteeism, working hours, and leave balances.
- Prepare monthly attendance reports for payroll.
- Ensure employees follow the organisation’s attendance and leave policies.

1. Performance & Appraisal Management

* Coordinate employee performance reviews and appraisal cycles.
- Work with department heads to define KPIs and performance expectations.
- Track employee performance and identify performance-related concerns.
- Coordinate increments, promotions, incentives, and performance improvement plans.
- Maintain proper appraisal documentation.

1. Employee Relations

* Handle employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
- Maintain effective communication between employees and management.
- Help create a professional, positive, and productive work environment.
- Support management in disciplinary matters when required.
- Work towards employee engagement and retention.

1. HR Policies & Process Development

* Develop and implement structured HR policies and processes.
- Maintain policies related to attendance, leave, work-from-office/work from home, performance, discipline, and employee conduct.
- Ensure employees understand and follow company policies.
- Build HR systems and processes suitable for a growing media organisation.

1. Exit & Full & Final Process

* Manage employee resignation and exit procedures.
- Track notice periods and handovers.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Coordinate employee clearance and documentation.
- Coordinate full & final settlement with the accounts/management team.
- Maintain proper records of resigned and exited employees.

1. HR Reports & MIS

* Maintain updated employee databases.
- Prepare monthly HR reports for management.




- Track hiring, employee turnover, attendance, leaves, salaries, and vacancies.
- Maintain recruitment and employee-performance dashboards/reports.
- Provide management with relevant HR insights and updates.

Mandatory Requirement

Candidates must have prior HR experience in a Media, Digital Media, Advertising, Marketing, PR, Content, or similar media-related organisation.

Candidates from completely unrelated industries without relevant media-industry HR experience will not be preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with a digital media company, media house, advertising agency, digital marketing agency, PR agency, content company, social media agency, or similar organisation will be preferred.

Experience in hiring Sales, Content, Social Media, Marketing, Creative, Design, Video, and Campaign Management professionals will be an added advantage.
