Role Description The HSG Safety Team Leader (Construction Industry) at Nexfore Consulting is a full time, on-site role based in Thane. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating safety activities across construction sites, ensuring adherence to company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices. Day-to-day tasks include supervising safety teams, conducting site inspections, monitoring work practices, and identifying potential hazards.

The Safety Team

Leader will develop and implement safety plans, conduct toolbox talks and training sessions, maintain safety records and documentation, and support incident investigations and corrective actions.



The role also involves collaborating with project managers, contractors, and workers to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead safety personnel and coordinate site activities.
- Candidates should possess Site Supervision skills to oversee daily construction operations and ensure safety standards are followed.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to effectively interact with site teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Inspection and Construction Safety skills to conduct thorough safety checks and enforce safety regulations.
- Candidates should have knowledge of local construction safety laws, HSE standards, and risk assessment practices.
- Candidates should preferably have a diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field, along with relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to maintain detailed safety documentation, support audits, and participate in incident investigations.
- Candidates with experience in construction safety leadership, safety training delivery, and coordination with regulatory bodies will be highly regarded.
