Develop, implement & monitor HSE policies, procedures and safety standards across plant locations.
- Ensure compliance with legal & regulatory requirements related to Safety, Health, Setting, Fire Safety and Hazardous Substances.
- Conduct HIRA, risk assessments and hazard identification studies and implement control measures.
- Develop & update Safety Manuals, SOPs, Work Instructions & Emergency Response Plans.
- Standardize safety procedures across manufacturing units and ensure periodic review/update.
- Conduct regular HSE audits, safety inspections & compliance assessments and ensure closure of CAPA.
- Lead investigation of accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions & environmental incidents and conduct RCA.
- Develop and conduct safety induction, training, toolbox talks, mock drills & awareness programs for employees, contractors and visitors.
- Establish emergency response and disaster management systems, including fire safety and evacuation drills.
- Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services whenever required.
- Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, effluent handling and pollution-control measures.
- Maintain incident records, safety reports and trend analysis and present findings to management.
