Role & responsibilities

- Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 OH&S; and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems.
- Conduct HIRA, Risk Assessment, JSA and Environmental Aspect & Impact Assessment.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, workplace safety observations, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, safe work practices, machine safety, electrical safety, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
- Implement and monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) for hot work, work at height, confined space, electrical and other high-risk activities.
- Conduct employee HSE induction, toolbox talks, safety training, and environmental awareness programs.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, unsafe acts/conditions, identify root causes, and monitor CAPA closure.
- Plan and coordinate fire drills, emergency response, evacuation drills, and first-aid arrangements.
- Monitor hazardous and non-hazardous waste, chemical handling, waste segregation, storage, and disposal.
- Monitor environmental aspects including water, energy, emissions, waste, pollution prevention, and resource conservation.
- Maintain HSE records, registers, inspection reports, training records, incident reports, and statutory documents.




- Support ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of NCs and observations.
- Monitor applicable legal and statutory HSE requirements and coordinate compliance activities.
- Monitor contractor HSE compliance and ensure adherence to company safety procedures.
- Prepare monthly HSE performance reports, KPIs, and management review inputs.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Safety / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Diploma / PG Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred.
- ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- 356 years of HSE experience in manufacturing / engineering / FRP / composites / automotive industry.
- Valuable knowledge of applicable Indian HSE and environmental statutory requirements.
