Associate within HR Operations is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operational activities across the employee life cycle. The role focuses on ensuring timely and accurate execution of HR processes, maintaining employee records, supporting HR systems administration and delivering a seamless employee experience through efficient service delivery. The incumbent will work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, employees, and cross-functional teams while building expertise in HR Operations and Shared Services.
Role & responsibilities :
1. Support end-to-end HR Operations activities across the employee lifecycle while ensuring accuracy and timely execution
2. Coordinate pre-joining and Day 1 onboarding activities, including documentation, employee communication, system access requests, and induction scheduling
3. Assist in onboarding activities for new employees across locations and business units
4. Execute employee lifecycle transactions such as confirmations, transfers, promotions, role changes, and separations
5. Ensure timely processing and documentation of employee lifecycle events
6. Adhere to established HR policies, workflows, and approval processes
7. Update and maintain employee data within HRMS and related systems
8. Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee master data including regular data checks and validations to maintain data quality
9.
Escalate complex issues to team lead as appropriate
10. Respond to employee requests and queries through email, HR helpdesk, or ticketing systems timely with professional resolution of employee concerns
11. Identify recurring queries and provide inputs for process improvements and self-service initiatives
12. Deliver a service-oriented employee experience with a focus on responsiveness and accuracy
13. Ensure compliance with HR policies, processes and documentation requirements
14. Adhere to data privacy, confidentiality, and information security standards
15. Report process gaps and support implementation of corrective actions
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Graduate / Post Graduate degree in human resources, business administration
2. 1-2 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Administration, or Employee Lifecycle Management
3. Exposure to onboarding, employee records management, HR systems, and employee query handling
4. Familiarity with HRMS tools (PeopleSoft, SAP, Success Factor, Oracle, etc.) and reporting will be an advantage
5. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and information security requirements
