About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to manage and oversee the complete HR function of the organisation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, attendance & payroll coordination, performance management, and HR policies.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day HR activities while working closely with management and department heads.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Post job openings on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
- Screen candidates, conduct initial HR interviews, and coordinate further interview rounds.
- Manage offer letters, joining formalities, and employee documentation.
- Maintain an updated recruitment tracker and hiring pipeline.
2. HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Handle onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Ensure HR processes and documentation are maintained accurately.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor employee attendance, late marks, absenteeism, and leave records.
- Coordinate with respective departments regarding attendance discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate attendance and leave records for payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with company attendance and leave policies.
4. Payroll Coordination
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the Accounts/Finance team.
- Verify attendance, payable days, deductions, incentives, and other salary-related inputs.
- Address employee queries related to attendance, salary, leave, and deductions.
5. Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally.
- Support management in resolving employee-related issues.
- Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Conduct employee engagement and communication initiatives.
6. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance reviews and appraisal processes.
- Assist department heads in defining KRAs/KPIs.
- Track employee performance and follow up on performance-related concerns.
- Maintain performance records and review documentation.
7. HR Policies & Compliance
- Draft, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees are aware of company rules, policies, and processes.
- Maintain statutory and HR compliance records as applicable.
- Support management in handling disciplinary matters and employee documentation.
8. HR Reporting
- Prepare regular HR reports related to:
- Headcount
- Recruitment
- Attendance
- Attrition
- Leave
- Employee performance
- Payroll inputs
- Maintain HR trackers and dashboards for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR.
- Strong knowledge of HR Operations and Recruitment.
- Good understanding of attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS Office.
- Ability to independently manage multiple HR activities and priorities.
Preferred
- Immediate Joiners are preferred.
- Experience in handling HR for a growing organisation or multi-location workforce will be an added advantage.
- Experience with HRMS/attendance management systems will be preferred.
