Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead our HR Operations, Employee Relations, and Statutory Compliance framework. The ideal candidate must have a thorough, hands-on understanding of Indian Labour Laws, statutory filings, payroll processing, and regulatory audits, alongside core HR Generalist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Statutory Compliance & Regulatory Audits:

- End-to-end management of all statutory requirements including PF, ESIC, Skilled Tax (PT), LWF, Gratuity, and Bonus Acts.
- Prepare, verify, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns within legal timelines.
- Maintain alignment with the 4 New Labour Codes (Code on Wages, Social Security, Industrial Relations, and OSH Code), including wage restructuring (50% Basic+DA rule).
- Ensure strict adherence to Shops & Establishment Act / Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Contract Labour Act, and POSH regulations.
- Liaise with government bodies, labor inspectors, external compliance consultants, and auditors.
- Conduct regular internal HR compliance audits and maintain statutory registers (Form A, B, C, etc.).

2. Payroll & Benefits Oversight:

- Partner with finance/payroll teams to ensure accurate salary computation, deductions, and statutory disbursements.
- Handle Full & Final (F&F;) settlements, leave encashment,



and severance calculations per labor law standards.

3. Employee Relations & Policy Governance:

- Frame, update, and enforce HR policies, code of conduct, and employee handbooks in compliance with current labor codes.
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and legal notices smoothly.
- Serve as part of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for POSH compliance.

4. Core HR Generalist Operations:

- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding, documentation, probation reviews to offboarding.
- Oversee performance management cycles (Appraisals, PIPs, KPI tracking).
- Drive employee engagement activities, retention strategies, and positive workplace culture.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree with an MBA/PGDM in HR, MSW, or M.A. in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PMIR) / Labour Studies.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations with a heavy focus on Statutory Compliance and Indian Labour Laws.
- Proven track record handling government authority audits, inspections, and filings independently.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS/Payroll software (e.g., Keka, Darwinbox, GreytHR, Zoho People).
- Strong conflict-resolution, negotiation, and communication skills.Role & responsibilities
