We are looking for an experienced HR Operations & Administration professional to independently manage day-to-day HR operations, employee administration, recruitment support, HR compliance, and implementation of HR policies and SOPs.
The candidate should have strong analytical, communication, presentation and technology skills, with the ability to use AI tools effectively for HR operations, reporting, documentation and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Administration
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation and personnel files.
- Manage attendance, leave, payroll inputs and employee-related documentation.
- Handle onboarding, induction, transfers and exit formalities.
- Address employee queries and coordinate with management for resolution.
- Ensure smooth and effective implementation of HR policies, processes and SOPs.
2. Policy & SOP Implementation
- Implement approved HR policies and SOPs across the organisation.
- Ensure employees understand and follow applicable HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular reviews to identify gaps in policy implementation.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure process compliance.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to HR processes.
3. Employee Training & Awareness
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on HR policies and SOPs.
- Prepare training material, presentations and supporting documents.
- Ensure employees understand their roles, responsibilities and compliance requirements.
- Maintain training records and collect employee feedback.
- Conduct refresher training whenever policies or processes are revised.
4. Recruitment Support
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders for hiring requirements.
- Screen and coordinate shortlisted candidates for interviews.
- Support recruitment for operational, retail,
manufacturing and corporate positions.
- Manage interview schedules, offer documentation and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely closure of open positions.
5. Legal & Compliance Support
- Coordinate HR-related statutory compliance such as PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishment, Labour Laws and other applicable requirements.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, legal advisors and government authorities when required.
- Ensure HR processes are aligned with applicable labour laws and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits related to HR and compliance.
6. Employee & Management Support
- Handle employee grievances and HR-related concerns.
- Support management in implementing HR policies and disciplinary processes.
- Prepare HR MIS and periodic reports for management review.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and HR requirements.
- Support employee engagement and training initiatives.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare and analyse HR MIS, recruitment, attendance, attrition, manpower and other HR reports.
- Use data to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Apply basic analytical techniques for manpower planning, recruitment effectiveness, employee retention and HR performance.
- Present key findings and recommendations to management in a clear and structured manner.
8. AI & Digital Tools
- Use AI tools and HR technology to improve HR productivity and efficiency.
- Utilise AI for HR documentation, policy drafting support,
training content, reporting, data analysis and process improvement.
- Stay updated with relevant AI-enabled HR tools and digital practices.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional judgement while using AI tools.
9. Presentation & Communication
- Should be presentable, professional and confident while interacting with employees, management and external stakeholders.
- Conduct professional training and policy-awareness sessions.
- Prepare and deliver management presentations and HR reports.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Personnel Management or a related field.
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in HR Operations and Administration.
- Experience in Retail and/or Manufacturing industry preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of HR processes, labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in HR policy and SOP implementation.
- Experience in employee training and HR process implementation.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable presentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable using AI tools, HRMS, Excel and other digital tools.
- Ability to independently manage HR operations and work with multiple stakeholders.
- Immediate joiner or candidate with a short notice period preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
