Job Overview

We are looking for an HR Cum Counselor who can independently handle recruitment, candidate counseling, interview coordination, and day-to-day office/HR activities. The candidate will be responsible for identifying vacancies in Varanasi, understanding client/company requirements, sourcing suitable candidates, and ensuring successful recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop job vacancy requirements from companies/employers in Varanasi.
- Understand hiring requirements, job profiles, salary ranges, and candidate expectations.
- Source suitable candidates through job portals, social media, references, networking, and local channels.
- Screen and shortlist candidates according to job requirements.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and candidate counseling.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with employers and candidates.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the selection process and until joining.
- Counsel candidates regarding suitable career/job opportunities, interviews, salary,



and joining process.
- Maintain candidate databases, vacancy trackers, and recruitment MIS.
- Handle documentation, onboarding coordination, and joining formalities.
- Manage day-to-day office administration and HR-related activities.
- Coordinate with employers and candidates to ensure vacancies are closed within the required timeline.
- Maintain professional relationships with local employers and build a strong network of hiring companies in Varanasi.

Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong candidate counseling and interviewing skills.
- Experience in recruitment, placement, staffing, or HR.
- Ability to generate and manage employer/job vacancy requirements.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and recruitment portals.
- Robust follow-up, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the Varanasi local job market and employer network will be an advantage.
