HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 1–3 years

Work Mode: Full-time, On-site

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and people-focused HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Bangalore team. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day HR needs of employees and ensuring a smooth, positive employee experience.

You will work closely with employees and managers across the organization on HR operations, employee engagement, onboarding, performance processes, policies, and other people-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

Employee HR & People Operations

· Act as the primary point of contact for employees for day-to-day HR-related queries and concerns.

· Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exits.

· Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

· Coordinate with payroll and other internal teams to ensure timely resolution of employee-related matters.

· Ensure compliance with company HR policies and processes.

Employee Engagement

· Drive employee engagement initiatives, activities, and internal events.

· Regularly interact with employees to understand concerns, feedback, and workplace needs.

· Help build a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.

· Support employee recognition and appreciation programs.

Performance & People Processes

· Coordinate the performance review and appraisal process.

· Support managers with goal-setting, feedback, and performance-related processes.

· Track completion of key HR processes and ensure timely follow-up.

· Help implement and improve HR policies and processes as the company grows.





Recruitment & Onboarding

· Support hiring activities, interview coordination, and candidate communication as needed.

· Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.

· Coordinate onboarding documentation, orientation, and initial employee setup.

HR Administration

· Maintain HRIS and employee records.

· Prepare HR reports and employee-related data when required.

· Support implementation of HR tools, policies, and processes.

· Handle employee documentation and HR communications.

What We’re Looking For

· 1–3 years of experience in HR, HRBP, People Operations, or a similar role.

· Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

· Comfortable interacting with employees across different levels and functions.

· Good understanding of basic HR processes and employee lifecycle management.

· Strong ownership and ability to independently manage day-to-day HR activities.

· Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to Have

· Experience working in a startup or technology company.

· Experience with HRIS / HR management tools.

· Exposure to performance management and employee engagement programs.

· Basic understanding of Indian employment and HR compliance processes.
