Position: CHRO / HR Director

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic CHRO / HR Director to lead the complete Human Resources function for a garment manufacturing organization with 4,000+ employees.

The ideal candidate should have 20+ years of overall HR experience, including a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Garments / Apparel / Textile industry. The candidate will be responsible for both strategic HR leadership and end-to-end HR operations, ensuring effective people management, policy implementation, payroll, compliance, training, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the complete HR function for an organization with 4,000+ employees.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business and organizational objectives.
- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and separation processes.
- Manage and oversee the complete payroll function, including attendance, salary processing, payroll verification, corrections, and employee records.
- Develop, review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Identify HR process gaps and introduce new policies and systems to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Lead training and development initiatives across different employee levels.
- Develop employee capability-building and leadership development programs.
- Conduct and monitor HR internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensure proper maintenance of employee files, HR documentation, records, and statutory registers.
- Handle payroll discrepancies, employee-data corrections, attendance issues, and other HR operational concerns.
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters, industrial relations,



and workplace issues.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the HR team and ensure effective HR service delivery across the organization.
- Monitor key HR metrics including manpower, attrition, absenteeism, payroll, employee engagement, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with senior management on manpower planning, organizational restructuring, HR strategy, and people-related business decisions.
- Establish strong HR systems and processes suitable for a large-scale garment manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 20+ years of overall HR experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Garments / Apparel / Textile industry is mandatory.
- Experience in a senior HR leadership role such as CHRO, HR Director, HR Head, VP HR, GM HR, or equivalent.
- Experience managing HR operations for a large workforce / manufacturing organization.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end HR operations.
- Robust hands-on experience in complete payroll management and payroll corrections.
- Experience in HR policy development and implementation.
- Strong exposure to HR strategy implementation.
- Experience in training and development.
- Experience conducting HR internal audits.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, documentation, and statutory requirements.
- Excellent team management and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates currently working as CHRO / HR Director / HR Head / VP HR / GM HR / DGM HR in the Garments, Apparel, Textile, or similar large-scale manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Candidates should have demonstrated experience managing large employee populations, implementing HR policies and strategies, managing payroll, conducting HR audits, and leading HR teams.

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
