Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Role Summary :

To oversee the cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping operations across the school campus. The ideal candidate should have strong team-handling skills, attention to detail, and preferably with prior experience in a school or educational institution.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the housekeeping team.

- Prepare duty rosters and ensure appropriate staff deployment.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across classrooms, washrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas.

- Conduct regular inspections and ensure timely resolution of housekeeping issues.

- Monitor cleaning materials, equipment, and consumable inventory.

- Train and guide staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene, safety, and proper use of equipment/chemicals.

- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.

- Coordinate housekeeping requirements for school events and special activities.

- Maintain daily checklists, records, and housekeeping reports.





- Coordinate with the Administration and Maintenance teams on facility-related requirements.

Candidate Profile

- Previous school/educational institution experience preferred.

- Graduate in any subject.

- Good knowledge of housekeeping, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

- Ability to manage staff rosters, attendance, discipline, and performance.

- Positive communication and coordination skills.

- Well-organised, responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented.

- Ability to work effectively in a busy, student-focused environment

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision.

- Prior experience in a school, educational institution

- Experience managing and supervising a team of housekeeping staff.

- Hands-on experience in staff deployment, cleaning standards, inventory, and hygiene management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
