Role Description The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout guest rooms and public areas at Namaste Corbett Resort & Spa. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ramnagar and involves daily tasks such as cleaning and preparing guest rooms, making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring bathrooms and common areas are spotless.

The Housekeeping

Associate will handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and organizing linens and guest clothing as needed. The role includes reporting maintenance issues, following safety and hygiene protocols, responding to guest requests courteously,



and collaborating with the front office and other departments to deliver a smooth guest experience.

Associate may also assist in training current team members on housekeeping standards and procedures.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong laundry skills, including washing, drying, ironing, and proper handling of linens and fabrics.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond clearly to guest requests.
- Candidates should possess solid customer service skills to create a welcoming, respectful, and helpful environment for guests.
- Candidates should possess good organization skills for managing cleaning schedules, inventory of supplies, and room readiness.
- Candidates should possess the ability to participate in and support training activities to maintain consistent housekeeping standards.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods, following safety practices.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
