About Larder & Folk

Larder & Folk is an artisanal bakery and café in the heart of Panjim, Goa, founded in 2020. What started as a home bakery has grown into a 30-seater café, with a dedicated production kitchen and a close-knit team working across bakery, pastry and hot kitchen.

We care about positive food, quality ingredients, consistency and the small details that make a guest experience memorable. Our kitchen is fast-paced, hands-on and collaborative, with a strong focus on learning, discipline and good teamwork.

We are looking to grow our Hot Kitchen team and are hiring at multiple levels:

**- Commis Chef

- Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)
- Chef de Partie (CDP)
- Jr. Sous Chef**

Depending on your experience and skill level, you will be responsible for supporting or leading day-to-day hot kitchen operations, including mise en place, service, preparation, cooking and maintaining kitchen standards.

The role involves

- Preparing and executing dishes consistently during service
- Managing mise en place and daily prep
- Following recipes, portioning and presentation standards
- Maintaining food quality, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting your seniors and working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team




- Monitoring stock, storage and wastage
- Following Larder & Folk’s SOPs and kitchen systems
- Taking responsibility for your section as you grow into the role

For CDP and Jr. Sous Chef positions, we are looking for people who can take ownership of their section, support junior team members and help maintain smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Previous professional kitchen experience is preferred, with the level of responsibility and position offered based on experience and skill.
