Job Summary

The Sports Hostel Warden is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a boys' residential sports hostel. He ensures a safe, disciplined, and structured living environment that supports the overall development of student-athletes in both sports and academics.

Key Responsibilities

Hostel Administration

Oversee the daily functioning of the hostel including accommodation, housekeeping, and maintenance.

Maintain attendance, movement, and behavior records of all residents.

Coordinate with vendors, housekeeping, and kitchen staff to ensure timely services.

Student Welfare & Discipline:

Monitor student behavior and ensure adherence to hostel rules and schedules (wake-up, training, meals, lights-out).

Ensure the emotional and physical well-being of students; act as a mentor and support figure.

Take proactive steps to prevent bullying, fights, and misuse of electronic gadgets or harmful substances.

Safety & Emergency Response:

Conduct regular safety checks and maintain discipline on hostel premises.

Be available 24/7 on campus to handle emergencies, health issues, or discipline matters.





Ensure immediate medical attention in case of injuries or illness and inform the academy’s medical team and parents as needed.

Coordination & Communication:

Liaise with coaches, trainers, academic coordinators, and parents regarding student progress and conduct.

Plan and enforce daily routines aligned with training schedules and academic requirements.

Submit weekly hostel reports to the management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate in any discipline (Preference for candidates with a background in Physical Education, Sports Management, or Social Work).

Minimum 2 years of experience in hostel administration or residential supervision (sports background is an added advantage).

Solid leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Physically fit, proactive, and passionate about youth and sports development.

Fluent in English and [local language].

Other Requirements

Willingness to reside full-time in the hostel accommodation provided.

Background check and reference verification will be mandatory before appointment.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
