Thinking Hats Landscape Architecture Studio is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Horticulturist to join our team. The candidate will work closely with our landscape architects and design team to develop and implement planting strategies for residential, commercial, and other landscape projects.

The role involves plant selection, planting design, plant identification, nursery coordination, site supervision, and landscape maintenance guidance. The candidate should have a good understanding of tropical plants, their growing conditions, soil requirements, irrigation, and maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist landscape architects in developing planting plans and plant palettes.
- Select suitable plants based on site conditions, climate, soil, and design requirements.
- Prepare plant lists and provide information on plant species, quantities, and specifications.
- Coordinate with nurseries and plant suppliers for plant availability and procurement.
- Conduct site visits and supervise planting works when required.




- Monitor plant health and recommend appropriate maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with landscape contractors and gardening teams.
- Identify plants and provide guidance on their growth, maintenance, and care.
- Support the design team in developing sustainable and visually appropriate planting schemes.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Horticulture, or a related field.
- Valuable knowledge of plants, particularly tropical and ornamental species.
- Understanding of planting techniques, soil, irrigation, and landscape maintenance.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel for project-related requirements.
