Job Role: CAST Imaging / Application Assessment Engineer

Location: Hyderabad,Bengaluru,Chennai,Pune,Noida.

Notice Period: Immediate/15 Days

Experience: 8+ Years

Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Application Assessment, Software Engineering, Application Architecture, or Application Modernization with strong hands-on expertise in CAST Imaging, application discovery, dependency analysis, software architecture, complexity assessment, technical debt assessment, and code quality/maintainability analysis .

Mandatory:

- 5+ years of relevant experience in application assessment, software engineering, architecture, or modernization programs
- Strong hands-on experience with CAST Imaging
- Strong experience in application discovery and dependency analysis
- Strong understanding of software architecture and application architecture
- Experience in application complexity and maintainability assessment
- Strong knowledge of technical debt assessment
- Good understanding of code quality and maintainability metrics
- Experience with at least one programming technology:
- Java / J2EE
- .NET / C#
- Python
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- COBOL / Mainframe
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills

REQUIREMENT FOR CAST IMAGING / APPLICATION ASSESSMENT ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

- Perform application assessments using CAST Imaging and related tools.
- Analyze application architecture, source code, interfaces, and dependencies .
- Conduct application complexity and maintainability assessments .
- Identify technical debt, structural flaws, architectural issues, and modernization risks .
- Generate architectural, dependency, complexity, and technical debt reports .
- Support cloud migration, application modernization, and application transformation initiatives .
- Analyze application dependencies and technology landscapes to identify migration and transformation risks.




- Collaborate with architects, developers, engineering teams, and stakeholders .
- Recommend appropriate remediation and modernization strategies based on assessment findings.
- Provide technical insights to support application modernization and transformation decisions.

Who Can Apply? ✔️ Candidates with 5+ years of experience in Application Assessment, Software Engineering, Application Architecture, or Modernization.

✔️ Strong hands-on experience with CAST Imaging .

✔️ Strong experience in application discovery and dependency analysis .

✔️ Good understanding of software architecture, application complexity, technical debt, and maintainability .

✔️ Experience with at least one of Java/J2EE, .NET/C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or COBOL/Mainframe .

✔️ Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts .

✔️ Experience analyzing enterprise applications and identifying architectural and modernization risks .

Good to Have

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Experience in application modernization and migration projects .
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices .
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks .
- Experience with application portfolio assessment or application rationalization.
- Experience supporting cloud transformation initiatives .
- Knowledge of application modernization strategies and legacy application transformation.
