Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) – International Marketing

Job Purpose The HOD – International Marketing will lead the global business development and marketing strategies for our high-quality, engineered-to-order heavy equipment. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the international market footprint, and securing high-value contracts across critical sectors, including Oil & Gas Refineries, Petrochemicals, Oleo Chemicals, Defence, and Nuclear energy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Global Growth

- Formulate and execute comprehensive international marketing and business development strategies to penetrate new geographies and consolidate existing markets.

- Position the company as a preferred global vendor for static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and modular skids.

- Analyze global market trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging sector requirements to identify new business streams.

Sales & Business Development

- Lead the end-to-end bidding, proposal management, and commercial negotiation processes for complex international tenders.

- Secure pre-qualifications and approvals with major global EPC contractors, international oil companies (IOCs), and national oil companies (NOCs).

- Direct the international sales pipeline from lead generation and technical-commercial discussions through to contract closure.

Client & Network Management

- Leverage and expand an influential global network of clients, consultants, agents, and industry stakeholders.

- Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers in the Oil & Gas, Fertiliser, Defence, and Nuclear domains.





- Represent the organization at major international trade compliance events, exhibitions, and global industry forums.

Leadership & Operations

- Head, mentor, and build the capabilities of the international marketing and estimation teams.

- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to ensure proposals align with manufacturing capabilities and international standards (e.g., ASME, PED).

- Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for global market share and revenue generation to the executive leadership.

Required Candidate Profile

Technical & Domain Expertise

- Deep technical understanding of engineered heavy equipment, specifically pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and modular skids.

- Proven track record of handling high-value capital equipment sales in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Fertilisers. Exposure to the Defence and Nuclear manufacturing landscape is highly advantageous.

- Thorough familiarity with international commercial terms, global logistics, export compliance, and foreign exchange risk management.

Experience & Education

- 15–20 years of progressive experience in international marketing or business development within a heavy engineering manufacturing setup.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical preferred). An MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in International Business is highly desirable.

- Willingness to travel internationally as required to build client relationships and close deals.
