We are looking for an experienced Hitachi Storage Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Hitachi VSP enterprise storage environments.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant enterprise storage administration experience with strong hands-on Hitachi VSP expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Hitachi Ops Center, RAIDCOM and Hitachi Command Suite.
- Strong experience with Hitachi replication technologies: TrueCopy and/or Universal Replicator (UR).
- Experience with ThinImage and/or ShadowImage.
- Strong knowledge of SAN administration, including Brocade or Cisco Director-class switches.
- Hands-on experience in performance analysis, troubleshooting, capacity planning and storage provisioning.
- Experience in DR planning,
replication monitoring and DR testing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently handle L2/L2+ incidents and escalations.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Automation/scripting using Bash, PowerShell or Python.
- SAN/NAS architecture and design knowledge.
- Linux/Windows file systems, NFS/CIFS.
- ITIL-based incident/change/problem management.
- Hitachi Vantara certification.
