Role Overview

We are looking for an IAC DBA / Application DBA who can combine strong database administration expertise with Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, and CI/CD practices. The role will work closely with database, application, infrastructure, operations, and information security teams to build and maintain reliable, automated database environments.

What You’ll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and cloud-native templates.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure and database environments.
- Administer and support databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL platforms.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and database deployments using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Manage database design, data architecture, data modeling, and database release activities.
- Perform database backup, recovery, migration, installation, configuration, and maintenance activities.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Work with AWS/GCP cloud environments and cloud-based database engineering ecosystems.




- Support database environments running on container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Follow Git-based source control, branching, and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to deliver automated database solutions.
- Contribute to database security, operational improvements, and scalable database architecture.

What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Database Administration and cloud environments.
- Strong practical experience with Terraform/IaC, PostgreSQL, Python/PowerShell, Git, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience working with AWS or GCP and cloud-based database environments.
- Good understanding of database backup, recovery, migration, release, and administration processes.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Working proficiency in Linux environments.
- Positive understanding of database structures, data architecture, data modeling, and scalable computing environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across application, infrastructure, operations, and security teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka
