Role: Forward Deployed Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We run AI-powered products in production and need someone who owns the platform they run on - the cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, and the backend that ties it together. This is the person who makes sure everything deploys cleanly, stays up, stays secure, and scales, while continuously bringing in new-age stacks and better ways of running our systems. Like the rest of the team, you own your work from development all the way to production management - nothing gets thrown over a wall.

What You'll Do

- Own the cloud infrastructure end to end primarily Azure (Apps, webapp) & Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Firebase, IAM), architecting for reliability, cost, and scale
- Own DevOps - CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), environment management, and release processes
- Own production security - IAM, network and access controls, secrets management, and hardening across services
- Build and maintain backend services that support the products.
- Run production - monitoring, logging, alerting, incident diagnosis, and fast recovery
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new-age stacks, tooling, and practices to keep our platform modern and efficient

What We're Looking For

- Deep,



hands-on cloud experience, Google Cloud, Azure - you've architected and run real production workloads
- Strong DevOps - CI/CD, Docker, deployment automation, environment, and release management
- Ownership of production security - IAM, access control, secrets, hardening
- Solid backend development - you write and maintain services, not just pipelines
- A track record of running live systems reliably - monitoring, diagnosing, and recovering quick
- Genuine appetite for learning and adopting new stacks and tooling
- End-to-end ownership: you take a system from dev to production and are accountable for it staying up and secure

Positive to Have

- Microsoft Azure (App Service / Container Apps, Functions)
- Experience integrating or operating AI/LLM systems in production
- Cost optimization and observability tooling experience
- Regulated or enterprise environment experience
