About the Role- We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with 5–10 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchase, preferably from the FMCG, Consumer Goods, Consumer Durables or Manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, cost optimization, purchase planning, and ensuring timely availability of materials as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate and onboard suitable vendors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Source materials, components, packaging and other business requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor purchase orders, pending supplies and delivery commitments.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and procurement optimisation.
- Compare quotations and conduct commercial evaluations.
- Coordinate with Finance, Production, Quality, Stores and other internal teams.




- Maintain procurement records, vendor documentation and MIS reports.
- Support vendor development and alternate source development.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding price, quality, quantity and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.
- Track market trends and prices to support effective purchasing decisions.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field will be an advantage.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Procurement/Purchase.
- Candidates from FMCG, Consumer Goods, Consumer Durables or Manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Positive understanding of procurement processes and commercial terms.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/Purchase/Procurement software will be preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requirements.
