Role: Technical Support Engineer Magento

Role Overview

Join Adobe Commerce Cloud as a Technical Support Engineer Magento and help customers solve complex technical issues across their Magento/Adobe Commerce environments.

This role involves troubleshooting Magento applications, Linux environments, databases, web servers, performance issues, and integrations while working closely with customers and internal technical teams.

Magento Developers with robust technical troubleshooting skills are welcome to apply. Prior technical support experience is not mandatory if you have strong hands-on Magento and related technology experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a technical point of contact for Magento/Adobe Commerce issues.
- Troubleshoot Magento applications, Linux environments, web servers, and databases.
- Analyze application and server logs to identify root causes.
- Troubleshoot issues related to performance, checkout, cart, sessions, integrations, and search.
- Work with technologies such as MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, NGINX/Apache, DNS, CDN, and SSL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve complex production issues.
- Provide timely resolutions in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.




- Participate in on-call/weekend support rotations as required.
- Communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly to customers.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
- Strong knowledge of PHP.
- Experience with MySQL / SQL and database troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of Linux/Ubuntu environments.
- Exposure to NGINX or Apache.
- Experience with Redis and/or Elasticsearch.
- Understanding of web application troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of application architecture and production environments.

Positive to Have

- Experience with DNS, CDN and SSL.
- Experience with REST APIs / GraphQL.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Java, Node.js or Perl.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms.
- Experience handling customer-facing technical issues or production support.

Important Note for Candidates This is a Technical Support Engineer role, but candidates do not need to come from a Technical Support designation. Magento Developers with strong technical skills, debugging experience and knowledge of the above technology stack are encouraged to apply.

Experience

2+ years of relevant Magento/Adobe Commerce experience preferred.
