About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Specialist to drive data migration initiatives involving legacy systems and SaaS platforms. The role requires strong ownership across migration strategy, data mapping, ETL processes, automation, validation, and production cutover.

What You’ll Do

- Define and implement data migration strategies for large-scale migration projects.
- Analyze source and target systems and create detailed data mapping and transformation approaches.
- Design and execute ETL processes to extract, transform, validate, and load data.
- Automate repetitive migration activities to improve accuracy, consistency, and execution speed.
- Work on legacy-to-SaaS data migration projects, ensuring data completeness and integrity.
- Plan and execute cutover data loads during production migration activities.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation between source and target systems.
- Conduct performance and volume testing to ensure migration processes can handle large datasets.




- Work closely with application, engineering, QA, and business teams to resolve migration issues.
- Ensure appropriate handling of PII and sensitive data throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot data quality, transformation, mapping, and migration failures.

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data migration, ETL, data integration, or data engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in data migration strategy, mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Experience with migration automation and production cutover activities.
- Proven experience migrating data from legacy platforms to SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of ETL workflows and large-volume data processing.
- Experience with performance and volume testing for migration workloads.
- Exposure to Snowflake is preferred.
- Good understanding of PII handling, data security, and data governance practices.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka
