EverEnviro is looking for Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - O&M; for its Punjab locations in Operations (O&M;) department. The job profile is as follows:

Location: Dhuri and Patran (Punjab)

Department: Operations

Experience Required: with minimum 8 years in paddy straw or press mud-based biogas plants)

Qualification: B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Production Engineering or equivalent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head to lead operations at our Biogas Plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in paddy straw or press mud-based feedstock operations and an in-depth understanding of biogas plant equipment, process control systems, safety practices, and documentation requirements. The role demands a robust leader capable of driving performance, ensuring compliance, and optimizing plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations & Performance

- Lead day-to-day operations of the biogas plant to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Ensure smooth functioning of digester systems, gas upgrading units (PSA/Membrane), and bottling/compression units.
- Monitor and control process parameters to optimize biogas yield and plant uptime.

2. Feedstock & Process Handling

- Manage logistics, pre-treatment, and feeding of paddy straw and press mud feedstock.
- Resolve feedstock handling issues and maintain a steady-state operation of the digester.

3. Equipment & Maintenance

- Ensure proper upkeep of mechanical equipment like pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, and separators.




- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

4. Process Control & Automation

- Oversee the functioning of SCADA/DCS/PLC-based control systems.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control valves.

5. Safety & Compliance

- Implement and enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols in plant operations.
- Conduct safety drills, toolbox talks, and risk assessments regularly.
- Ensure statutory compliance with PESO, CPCB/SPCB, and other regulatory bodies.

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production and maintenance records.
- Prepare reports for internal audits, management reviews, and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure documentation as per ISO/OHSAS/IMS standards (if applicable).

7. Team Management & Coordination

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and sales for seamless operations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Proven experience in managing biogas plants running on paddy straw and/or press mud.
- Strong technical understanding of biogas process engineering, plant utilities, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in SCADA/DCS operation and basic troubleshooting of automation systems.
- Sound knowledge of safety standards and statutory compliance in biogas operations.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and team management skills.
