Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hindi Teacher to join our academic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent Hindi communication skills, and the ability to make language learning engaging and accessible to students at different levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, activities, and learning materials.
- Use interactive and activity-based approaches to develop students' confidence in Hindi.
- Assess student progress and maintain appropriate academic records.
- Provide additional support to students who require help with Hindi.
- Maintain positive classroom management and student engagement.
- Prepare students for examinations and internal assessments.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress where required.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, academic planning, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with other teachers, coordinators,



and school leadership.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hindi or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent recognised teaching qualification preferred.
- Previous experience teaching Hindi in a school environment.
- Strong written and spoken Hindi.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Sound classroom management and lesson-planning skills.

Preferred Skills

- Previous experience in a CBSE school.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum, assessment, and examination requirements.
- Ability to use activity-based and student-centred teaching methods.
- Ability to support students with varying levels of Hindi proficiency.
- Basic digital literacy and experience using smart-classroom or educational technology.

Location Requirement This is a full-time, on-site position in Kochi. Applicants must currently live in Kochi or within a reasonable commutable distance of the school. Candidates who would require long-distance relocation before being able to join should clearly mention this when applying.
