Job Objective To provide effective Hindi language and literature instruction, develop students’ reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills, and encourage appreciation of Hindi language and literature.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Hindi lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach Hindi grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension and literature.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers and study materials.
- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Conduct regular class tests, assessments and examinations.
- Evaluate students’ written and oral work and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students who require additional academic support and conduct remedial classes.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to participate in Hindi debates, speeches, essay writing, storytelling, poetry recitation and other language activities.
- Develop students’ spoken Hindi and effective communication skills.
- Encourage students to appreciate Hindi literature, poetry, stories and cultural values.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic performance and student progress.




- Communicate students’ academic progress and concerns to parents when required.
- Participate actively in school functions, competitions, cultural programmes and co-curricular activities.
- Use appropriate digital tools and teaching resources to make Hindi lessons engaging and interactive.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and the school administration.
- Attend staff meetings, training programmes and other duties assigned by the Principal/Management.
- Maintain professional conduct and follow all school rules, policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Hindi / Hindi Literature.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
- Strong command of Hindi language and grammar.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Basic computer and digital teaching skills.
- Previous teaching experience will be an advantage.
