A Highway Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of roads and highways. The role includes ensuring designs are safe, cost-effective, and comply with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and review road and highway projects.
- Supervise construction work and site activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
- Ensure compliance with design codes (IRC, AASHTO, etc.).
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and BOQs.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1–15 years of experience in highway projects.
- Knowledge of design tools (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MX Road).
- Strong understanding of road construction methods and standards.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
