Role Description The Heat Treatment Production and Process Manager is responsible for overseeing all heat treatment operations, ensuring product quality, process consistency, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This full-time, in office role based in Rohtak includes planning and scheduling heat treatment production, monitoring furnace operations, optimizing process parameters, and coordinating with forging, machining, and quality teams. The manager will analyze process data, implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce defects, and maintain documentation for audits and certifications.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include supervising the heat treatment team, training staff on procedures and safety, managing maintenance of equipment,



and supporting timely order fulfillment in line with customer and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes (e.g., quenching, tempering, normalizing, case hardening) and metallurgical principles.

- Experience in production planning, process optimization, and workflow management within a forging or automotive manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in quality control methods, inspection techniques, and adherence to relevant standards (such as ISO/TS 16949 or similar).

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, process sheets, and material specifications, with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Skills in team leadership, shift supervision, training, and performance monitoring for production staff.

- Competence in using production and reporting software, basic MS Office tools, and data analysis for process improvement.

- Strong understanding of workplace safety, equipment maintenance coordination, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience in heat treatment operations is highly preferred.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
