Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect to manage architectural planning, design, space planning, and execution for Lifenity Health’s laboratories, diagnostic centres, offices, and other healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial, healthcare, hospital, laboratory, or diagnostic facility projects and should be capable of coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

- Prepare architectural layouts, floor plans, space planning, and detailed drawings for diagnostic centres and healthcare facilities.
- Plan productive layouts for laboratories, sample collection areas, reception, waiting areas, offices, and utility spaces.
- Develop and review architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
- Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other consultants.
- Conduct site visits and monitor architectural execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams.
- Review BOQs, material specifications, estimates, and project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building regulations, fire safety requirements, accessibility standards, and healthcare/laboratory requirements.
- Support renovation, expansion, and new facility development projects.
- Identify site-related issues and provide practical design solutions.
- Monitor project progress, quality, timelines, and adherence to approved designs.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations, and drawing revisions.
- Ensure proper utilization of space while maintaining patient flow, staff movement, safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

Skills





- Strong knowledge of Architectural Planning and Space Planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/SketchUp will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of healthcare, laboratory, commercial, or institutional projects.
- Knowledge of building codes, fire safety, accessibility, and basic MEP coordination.
- Strong understanding of construction materials and execution.
- Good vendor, contractor, and consultant coordination skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) from a recognized institution.

Experience

2+ years of relevant experience in architectural design, project execution, interior/space planning, or healthcare/commercial projects.

Candidates with experience in hospital, diagnostic centre, pathology lab, healthcare facility, or laboratory projects.
