Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end product engineering for the SaaS platform, from architecture design through development, release, and continuous improvement.

- Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for scalable, secure, multi-tenant cloud-native products deployed on AWS.

- Lead backend engineering using Java and Node.js and frontend development using React, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.

- Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into technical solutions and executable engineering roadmaps.

- Design and govern system architecture including microservices, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.

- Establish engineering best practices across SDLC including coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud-native deployment patterns.

- Drive adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities within products and engineering workflows to enhance automation, insights, and product value.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability frameworks for monitoring, logging, and alerting.

- Ensure platform scalability, availability, performance optimization, and fault tolerance.

- Lead architectural reviews and ensure alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards.

- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and engineering excellence.

- Partner with QA and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases and reduced production defects.

- Continuously improve developer experience, productivity, and engineering maturity.

- Stay updated on industry trends, modern engineering practices, and emerging technologies relevant to SaaS and AI-driven platforms.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

- Qualification: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science,Engineering, or related field





- Experience: 12-15 years of enterprise in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles.

- Proven experience leading SaaS product development teams.

- Strong hands-on expertise in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), Java.

- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred) and multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

- Strong experience with microservices architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs, and distributed systems.

- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Experience implementing secure, scalable, high-availability systems.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across product, engineering, QA, and platform teams.

- Ability to translate business and product requirements into technical designs and execution plans.

Desirable Skills

- Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI technologies including LLMs, MLOps, and AI-driven automation.

- Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, or similar.

- Experience with modern frontend tooling (Next.js, Webpack, Babel) and frontend performance optimization.

- Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as GDPR, SOC2, and ISO27001.

- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms (Kafka or similar).

- Strong focus on code quality, engineering governance, and continuous improvement.

- Experience working in cooperative, cross-functional product organizations.
