Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with KAAML’s business strategy.
- Identify and prioritise technology investments that enhance operational efficiency, AUM scalability, and client experience.
- Articulate and champion the firm’s technology vision, effectively communicating strategy, progress, risks, and value realisation to executive leadership, business stakeholders, investors, and technology teams.
- Foster robust stakeholder relationships and drive alignment across business, operations, and technology functions to support strategic objectives and organisational change.

2. Digital Transformation & Innovation ·Own and manage end-to-end investment technology platforms, covering deal sourcing, CRM, due diligence, investment governance, portfolio management, fund operations, performance analytics.

- Lead digital modernization initiatives spanning cloud adoption, AI/ML‑driven analytics, process & workflow automation, and digital product development.
- Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to private markets, asset servicing, risk analytics, data pipelines, and investor reporting.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement within technology teams.

3. Technology Operations & Infrastructure

- Oversee systems architecture, infrastructure modernization, network management, and scalability of platforms supporting investment, risk, and finance functions.
- Ensure high availability, cyber‑security resilience, and compliance with regulatory technology standards across all platforms.
- Implement robust disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BCP), and data‑protection frameworks.

Product Engineering & Development Governance

- Lead end‑to‑end development lifecycle for internal platforms including portfolio management systems, credit/real estate evaluation platforms, and investor lifecycle digital tools.
- Establish modern engineering standards, Agile practices, project governance, QA processes, and DevOps frameworks.

5. Risk, Compliance & Cyber Security

- Build and maintain secure, compliant technology environments aligned with RBI, SEBI, and internal governance requirements.
- Implement robust identity management, cyber‑security protocols, and enterprise risk controls.
- Ensure timely technology audits and compliance reporting.

6. Talent Leadership & Vendor Management

- Lead and mentor engineering, IT operations, cyber security, and data teams; build a strong, future‑ready tech talent pipeline.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, fintech partners, and enterprise system providers—ensuring performance, SLAs, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

- 15+ years of technology leadership experience, preferably from Private Equity, Asset Management or Wealth Management domain.
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture, CRM platform, enterprise infrastructure, cyber security, and large‑scale system design—skills aligned with modern CTO requirements.
- Strong understanding of private markets investment processes, data management, and regulatory technology implications.
- Proven track record in digital transformation, innovation programs, and leading high‑performance technology teams.
- Background in engineering, computer science, or information systems; advanced management degree preferred.
- Preferred candidates from Private Equity, AMC or Wealth management background only.
