Hiring | Head – Tax | Mumbai

SW India is hiring on behalf of a client in the logistic industry for a senior tax leadership role based in Mumbai.

We are looking for a seasoned Tax professional with 15+ years of experience to lead the organisation’s India and international tax function and advise senior leadership on tax strategy and business decisions.

Key areas of responsibility:

- India and international tax strategy and planning
- Direct and indirect tax matters
- Cross-border transactions and tax structuring
- Transfer pricing and international tax
- M&A; tax due diligence and transaction support
- Tax compliance, assessments and risk management
- Working closely with Finance, Legal and Business leadership
- Leading and developing the tax team




- Driving technology, automation and process improvements in tax

Ideal profile:

- 15+ years of relevant tax experience
- CA with strong India and international tax expertise
- Robust understanding of Indian direct and indirect tax
- Experience with international taxation, transfer pricing and cross-border transactions
- Experience working with multinational organisations
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Big Four / leading professional services experience would be an advantage
