- Role Overview

We are hiring a Head of Operations to lead and scale Paragon's end-to-end operations Returnable Asset Management, Warehousing, and Transportation — across locations. This is a senior leadership mandate to maximize asset utilization, enforce cost discipline, accelerate technology adoption, and ensure reliable, data-driven service delivery to our automotive OEM and Tier-1 client base.

- Key Responsibilities

Returnable Asset Management

- Own the complete lifecycle of returnable assets — deployment, tracking, cleaning, repair, and redeployment — across the client and vendor network

- Minimize asset loss, damage, and idle inventory while maximizing turnover and pool efficiency
- Set up governance and audit mechanisms for asset reconciliation across sites

Warehousing & Transportation

- Manage owned, leased, and outsourced warehouse facilities and logistics/transportation networks
- Optimize space utilization, route planning, vehicle utilization, and fleet efficiency

- Drive OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance across all customer accounts, including milk-run and sequential delivery models

Cost & Technology





- Own the P&L; / operating budget for the operations function; drive continuous cost reduction through Lean and Kaizen methodologies

- Lead adoption and scaling of WMS, TMS, asset-tracking systems, and real-time MIS dashboards for operational visibility
- Benchmark cost-per-unit, cost-per-km/trip, and productivity metrics; drive improvement plans

Leadership & Governance

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operations teams across warehousing, transportation, and asset management functions
- Establish and enforce robust SLAs with 3PL vendors and transport partners

- Ensure strict adherence to safety and statutory compliance across all operational sites (aligned with ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards)
- Partner closely with the Sales function on customer onboarding, service escalations, and account retention

Key Success Metrics (KPIs)

1. Asset utilization rate, turnaround time, and loss/damage percentage
2. Warehouse productivity, space utilization, and cost-per-unit
3. Transportation cost efficiency (cost per km/trip) and OTIF adherence

4. Operating budget adherence and year-on-year productivity gains

Candidate Profile

- 10–12 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, 3PL, or asset-intensive operations — automotive/OEM-linked experience strongly preferred

- Proven track record managing multi-site warehousing and transportation operations with full P&L;/budget ownership
- Hands-on exposure to returnable packaging or asset-pooling models is a strong plus
- Experience implementing WMS/TMS and MIS-driven operations

- Robust vendor management, team-building, and cross-functional stakeholder skills
- MBA / Engineering / Supply Chain qualification preferred
