Role Description The Head of Operations – Fabric Division will lead end-to-end operations for the fabric manufacturing business, ensuring efficient production, quality, and timely delivery. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing weaving, processing, maintenance, supply chain, and dispatch functions across high-speed waterjet looms, airjet looms, twisting, warping, and related infrastructure. The role includes developing and implementing operational strategies, optimizing resource utilization, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and sustainability standards.





The Head of Operations will collaborate closely with leadership, production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams to align operational performance with business goals and customer requirements. The position also involves mentoring and developing operational teams, implementing performance metrics, and supporting technology upgrades to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

- Strong operations leadership experience in large-scale textile or fabric manufacturing, including end-to-end plant management and production planning.
- Proficiency in managing weaving, processing, and related shop-floor activities, ideally with exposure to waterjet looms, airjet looms, twisting, and warping operations.
- Demonstrated skills in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Experience in supply chain, inventory control, and vendor coordination to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery.
- Ability to implement and monitor quality assurance systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in an industrial environment.
- Strong people management capabilities, including team development, performance management, and fostering an inclusive, safe workplace.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to operational decisions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and key customers.
