Head – Business Development & Client Partnerships | Influencer Marketing

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior business leader to drive growth for our Influencer Marketing vertical.

This role will primarily focus on new business development (70%), while also owning strategic client relationships and account growth (30%). The person will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, converting briefs into business, building strong relationships with marketers and agency partners, and growing existing accounts.

The ideal candidate should understand the influencer marketing ecosystem beyond creator execution, including content, platforms, creator-led solutions, campaign amplification and evolving opportunities within the creator economy.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development – 70%

- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities for the Influencer Marketing vertical.
- Identify and engage brands,marketers, agencies and relevant partners through strategic outreach, industry relationships, referrals and networking.
- Lead introductory meetings, capability presentations and briefing conversations to understand client objectives and identify relevant opportunities.
- Work closely with Strategy, Creative and Influencer teams to develop relevant proposals and pitches, and drive opportunities through negotiation and closure.
- Identify opportunities across diverse creatore cosystems and develop relevant influencer-led solutions based on client requirements.
- Maintain visibility on pipeline performance, expected closures and revenue opportunities while building sustainable, long-term business relationships.

Client Partnerships & Account Growth – 30%

- Act as a senior relationship owner for key Influencer Marketing clients and build relationships that extend beyond individual campaigns.




- Understand client priorities and upcoming requirements to identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
- Identify cross-sell, upsell and broader opportunities, including retainers, annual partnerships and integrated influencer mandates.
- Partner with servicing and execution teams to maintain a robust client experience and support the resolution of key client challenges.
- Conduct regulars trategic conversations with key clients to strengthen relationships and identify future opportunities.

Internal Collaboration

- Ensure briefs are clearly understood and translated into commercially viable opportunities.
- Bring the commercial and relationship context of key opportunities to internal teams and participate in key pitches and strategic client conversations.
- Provide relevant market intelligence,client requirements, competition and emerging opportunities within influencer marketing.

What We Are Looking For

- Solid understanding of influencer marketing, the creator economy and evolving creator-led solutions
- Strong experience in business development, client partnerships or revenue roles within influencer marketing, digital marketing, advertising, content or related industries.
- Strong client relationships and ability to understand briefs and develop relevant solutions.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills,with proven new-business closure experience
- Commercially driven with the ability to balance revenue goals with long-term client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced agency environment.
