Role & Responsibilities

- Lead overall Forging Plant operations, production, quality, and productivity.

- Achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

- Manage forging processes, presses, furnaces, dies, tooling, and manpower.

- Monitor OEE, rejection, rework, downtime, yield, and productivity.

- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and Lean practices.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, and other departments.

- Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Lead plant audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.

- Develop and manage the plant team and ensure competency development.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production,



Metallurgy, or a related field.

- 1520+ years of experience in forging/manufacturing operations.

- Solid experience in hot/closed-die forging processes.

- Experience in automotive or engineering component manufacturing is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of plant operations, production KPIs, quality systems, and lean manufacturing.

- Good understanding of IATF 16949, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices.

- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team management skills.
