Key Responsibilities

1. P&L; &
- Business Performance

- Own the weekly management P&L; and monthly closed P&L.;

- Track sales, COGS, gross margins, and profitability by region, channel, and business line.

- Analyze actuals vs. budget/target, highlighting variances and recommended corrective actions.

1. Balance Sheet Ownership

- Ensure all major balance sheet accounts are accurate, reconciled, and explained.

- Own inventory, receivables, payables, advances, bank balances, cash, statutory dues, and working capital accounts.

- Drive monthly balance sheet hygiene and the timely closure of old or unexplained balances.

1. Receivables &
- Payables

- Oversee customer and vendor reconciliations and weekly ageing reports.

- Work directly with key customers to resolve deductions, claims, short payments, and reconciliation issues.

- Track credit limits, credit periods, and overdue payments.

1. Inventory &
- Purchase Control

- Maintain real-time visibility of inventory (by value, region, store, and SKU) through Odoo.

- Identify slow-moving, dead stock, and excess inventory.

- Challenge purchase requests based on sales velocity, stock levels, and working capital requirements to maintain purchasing discipline.

1. Store &
- Collection Reconciliation

- Reconcile store sales against POS, cash deposits, UPI, and card settlements.

- Identify discrepancies between recorded sales and actual collections/deposits.

- Establish weekly store reconciliation processes and exception reporting.

1. Cash Flow &
- Working Capital





- Maintain visibility over current and projected cash positions.

- Track expected collections, upcoming payments, purchase commitments, and credit utilization.

- Provide 30/60/90-day cash flow visibility and early warnings regarding potential cash pressures.

1. Odoo / ERP &
- MIS

- Act as the finance and business control owner for Odoo.

- Ensure accurate mapping of SKU, store, customer, and financial data.

- Identify reporting gaps, implement relevant Odoo modules/processes, and build simple, actionable dashboards for management review.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 10–15+ years of finance experience, preferably within retail, FMCG, consumer goods, or distribution.

- Qualifications: CA preferred
- CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent strong backgrounds will be considered.

- Technical Skills: Solid background in financial control, working capital, inventory, and MIS. Hands-on ERP experience (Odoo is a strong advantage) and advanced Excel/data-analysis skills.

- Attributes: Commercially sharp, comfortable challenging business decisions with data, and possesses strong team-management and reconciliation discipline.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
